ISLAMABAD: The newly constituted Council of Common Interests (CCI) holds its first meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday to devise new energy policy.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair the meeting.
All the four chief ministers and other members of the council will attend.
The participants of the meeting will be taken into confidence on the current power supply and demand situation and government’s plans to overcome the shortfall.
The meeting will also discuss recently agreed bailout loan package‚ with the International Monetary Fund.
