ISLAMABAD: Attorney General Munir A Malik has said that local bodies (LB) elections in Cantonment Boards can be held by November 2013.

He informed the Supreme Court (SC) that summary about local bodies election in the cantonment boards has been presented to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He said the Prime Minister has proposed amendments in the summary and constituted a 10-member parliamentary committee to review these amendments.

The Apex Court is hearing a case regarding local bodies elections.
