ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In her message on International Day of Transgender Visibility, the Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari has said that Pakistan’s Transgender Law is one of the most progressive in the world.

“Today we mark Transgender Day of Visibility and the Ministry of Human Rights is committed to mainstreaming transgenders and sensitizing police and judiciary,” the minister wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.

The International Transgender Day of Visibility is annually celebrated across the globe on March 31 to honor transgender people and raise awareness of discrimination faced by them worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society.
