Three dead as security forces, militants clash in Balochistan

QUETTA, Pakistan: A security forces’ vehicle came under attack by the militants in Kharan district of Balochistan on Saturday evening, resulting in a clash that left a woman and a child among three people dead, a police official said.

The official said that the attack took place on the Quetta-Kharan road when the vehicle of security forces was passing through the area.

Resultantly, a clash erupted between the militants and the security forces but meanwhile three people including a woman and a child caught in the firing.

The police official said that the woman and the child were killed on the spot whereas the other person succumbed to injuries in Kharan hospital.

The attackers managed to escape in their vehicle from the area while the security personnel launched a search operation for them.
