However, the latest one is quite funny but shows how many different as well as unusual routes US had been using to please its friends in Afghanistan.

Chairman House Foreign Affairs Committee Brian Mast in a video said that radical, far-left grants issued by the State Department and United States Agency for International Development under the Biden administration also included $15 million for condoms to the Taliban through USAID. Moreover, no record is available where these condoms were bought and distributed.

It may be remembered that the Transatlantic Intelligence Consortium that is a specialized think tank composed of former intelligence officers and counterterrorism experts released a report titled “HOW THE US, EU & UN ARE FUNDING THE TALIBAN AND AL-QAEDA” in which it revealed that $40 million every week arrives to Kabul by plane from the US, EU to fund Taliban and $7 billion, the money that belonged to the Afghan people. Tim Burchett who is a member of Congress wrote a letter to Donald Trump on January 2, 2025, indicating that he (Tim Burchett) raised the issue in the year 2023 but his bill was intercepted and he would again move the bill. He stated in the letter that the US government does shipment of cash payments in US dollars to Afghanistan’s Central Bank. These cash shipments are auctioned off and after that, they are nearly impossible to trek. This is how the Taliban is being funded and plans to fund terrorism around the world. “The Taliban’s foreign ministry in Kabul confirmed the swap, saying two US citizens had been exchanged for”, reported the Guardian online newspaper.

The issue of funding the terrorist group Taliban by the US government through US taxpayer’s money was raised by Elon Reeve Musk who asked the then Biden Administration to answer whether the US sending US taxpayer money to the Taliban.

Responding to the Twitter message of Lara Logan, a South African television and radio journalist and war correspondent who became popular due to reporting about the American invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, Musk asked the US government to answer him. Lora in her message said:

“Imagine giving these terrorists $4 million dollars of your tax money every week? Sound crazy? Because it is -pure insanity”.
