Rawalpindi, Pakistan: Patrolling Police Rawalpindi Region, operating under the guidance of SSP Muhammad Bin Ashraf, registered 86 FIRs in the last month.
One pistol, one rifle with 14 rounds, and six liters of liquor were recovered. 46 proclaimed offenders, and 40 court fugitives were arrested, including 08 categories including proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes. 25189 e-challans were issued.
Cases were registered against 71 drivers for installing substandard gas cylinders in vehicles. 313108 persons and 64894 vehicles were checked in e-app checking. During the journey, 307 distressed passengers were helped including 17 first responders and medical aid. Six missing children were safely handed over to their heirs. 43 citizens were given driving courses in driving schools while 713 were issued driving licenses. 299 minors and 3308 motorcycles of undocumented and unhelmeted motorcyclists were impounded. Community policing meetings and road safety workshops were organized at the posts which was highly appreciated by the public.
