KARACHI, Pakistan: A vehicle carrying a Chinese national was targeted in Gulshan-i-Hadeed area of Karachi on Monday morning which left two persons injured; however, the foreigner survived the blast.
Talking to media, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar said that the explosive device was denoted by remote control and the blast hit a van which was carrying a Chinese national.
The SSP further said that the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) also recovered a pamphlet which was written in Sindhi from the area denouncing “foreign control over Sindh’s natural resources”.
Rao Anwar said that the two persons including the driver sustained injuries in the blast but luckily the Chinese national remained unhurt.
The Sindhu Desh Liberation Army, linked with RAW, claimed responsibility for the attack on vehicle of Chinese national, according to the SSP.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Sindh Police AD Khawaja took notice of the incident and issued orders for an investigation.
