ADEN: At least seven suspected al-Qaeda militants were killed in two US drone strikes in southern Yemen on Saturday morning, a local official said.

The official said drones struck two cars carrying the suspected militants in the al-Mahfad district of Abyan Governorate in southern Yemen, wounding two people as well.
