RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Two military police officials embraced Shahadat in a terrorist act at M.A. Jinnah road in Karachi on Tuesday afternoon.

In a statement issued in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that two soldiers, Lance Naik Rashid and Havaldar Arshad, in an military police jeep, were hit by unidentified motorcycle gunmen.

PM Nawaz condemns attack on Military Police personnel

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has condemned the attack on a Military Police van on M.A Jinnah Road in Karachi in which two personnel lost their lives.

In a message from London, the prime minister said that the government would not be deterred by such cowardly terrorist attacks.

“Peace and stability is the future of Karachi, which is because of the national resolve against terrorists and great sacrifices made by our Jawans”, the prime minister said.

Sympathizing with the families of the martyred, the prime minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls. He also prayed to Allah Almighty to grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss.

The prime minister said that the martyred have sacrificed their lives for a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.
