Two BLA terrorists including commander arrested in Hub

QUETTA, Pakistan: The Frontier Corps (FC) on Wednesday arrested two terrorists of the banned outfit Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) including a Commander Sorat Jan Marri in Balochistan’s Hub City.

Talking to media, a spokesman for the FC Balochistan told that the terrorist were taken into custody during a search operation carried out in the area on Wednesday morning.

The spokesman also told that weapons were also recovered from the terrorists’ possession.

The BLA was declared a terrorist organisation in Pakistan in April 2006 after a series of attacks conducted by the group targeting security personnel.

Security further tightened on highways in Balochistan

Meanwhile, the Balochistan government has tightened security on highways and railway tracks across the province in the wake of Mastung massacre to ensure safety of passengers.

The provincial home and tribal affairs sources said that patrolling of law enforcement agencies on all highways has been enhanced to stop incidents of terrorism and robberies.

On last Friday night, militants kidnapped passengers from two Karachi-bound coaches and killed at least 22 of them in Khad Kocha area of Balochistan’s Mastung district.
