ISTANBUL: Turkish police conducted search operations across Turkey on Tuesday in efforts to arrest members of the Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C), weeks after one of its members carried out a suicide attack in US embassy killing a Turkish security guard.

According to state-run Anatolian news agency, police has issued detention order for nearly 200 people in nationwide raids.

On February 1, one Turkish security guard was killed when a member of the Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C), listed as a terrorist organization by the US and Turkey, detonated his explosives at an entrance of the US embassy in Ankara.
