ISLAMABAD: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan(TTP) and Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) have reportedly joined to create a special unit Ansar-Al-Aseer with the aim to free imprisoned militants in Pakistan, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Thursday. High alert has been announced at all important installations of Pakistan Army.

According to reliable sources, likely targets could be intelligence Agencies, army personnel and jail staff. No further details are available.

Following the reports, Pakistan security agencies have become high alert and exercising extra vigilance and heightened security measures at all levels.
