PESHAWAR: The outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Tuesday accused the secret agencies of having an involvement in the killing of Asmatullah Shaheen Bhittani in the North Waziristan tribal area.
On Monday, unknown gunmen opened fire on a vehicle near Darga Mandi area of Ghulam Khan Tehsil in the North Waziristan agency, killing four persons including the former leader of TTP central shura Asmatullah Shaheen Bhittani, his driver and guards.
Talking to media from an undisclosed location, the TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid confirmed that Asmatullah Shaheen was killed in an attack.
The TTP spokesman said that the killing of Asmatullah Shaheen caused irreparable loss to the terror outfit.
