Three soldiers killed in Mir Ali roadside blast

MIRANSHAH: Three Pakistan Army soldiers were killed and three others injured in a roadside blast that targeted a double-cabin pick-up truck of the military in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 12 August, 2012.

“Troops were on their way to Miranshah from Mir Ali in a convoy. When they left Mir Ali, one of the vehicles was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED), killing three soldiers on the spot and injuring three others,” said a senior military official based in Miranshah, the headquarters of North Waziristan Agency.
