KARACHI: A bomb planted on a motorcycle went off near a mosque in Saddar area of Karachi on Friday that left at least two persons dead and three others injured.

The sources said that the blast took place near Makki Masjid located in front of the parking plaza. The blast also damaged nearby building and vehicles parked in the vicinity.

The police reached the blast site and cordoned off the area while the dead and injured were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) where an emergency was imposed.
