PESHAWAR: The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) personnel on Monday defused at least three Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) at Dardar Abdullah Baba in Badaber’s Sheikhan area on the outskirts of the country’s northwestern city of Peshawar.

The explosives were fitted with timers and were defused due to the timely ‘intervention of the bomb disposal squad upon receiving information, the BDS sources said.

Separately, two suicide bombers had entered Peshawar city to carry out terrorist activities targeting high profile installations such as police stations, political gatherings, the airport and other sensitive areas, television channels reported.
