KARACHI: Three alleged members of outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have been arrested on charges of kidnapping for ransom and robberies, police said on Wednesday.

According to crime Investigation Department (CID) SSP Fayaz Khan, the captives were associated with the Hakimullah Mehsood faction of the militant outfit.

The SSP said detonators, ball-bearings and detonating wires were recovered from their possession.

Khan said the accused were wanted for their involvement in kidnapping for ransom and robberies. He said that the arrested militants were being interrogated about blasts in Karachi.
