Six Taliban killed during the night operation in Ghazni Afghanistan

Kabul, Afghanistan: At least six Taliban were killed during the night operation in Ghazni province of Afghanistan, claimed officials of Ghazni police.

The operation was started on Saturday-Sunday night (July 12-13 night) said Ghazni police chief spokesman while talking to media on Sunday morning.

Police also claimed that 7 Taliban were seriously injured during the operation there were no casualties among civilians and Afghan security forces in the operation.

“Six Taliban killed during the night operation in Ghazni Afghanistan”, said a local reporter when he was contacted by Dispatch News Desk to confirmed the story.

Ghazni is one of the thirty-four provinces of Afghanistan, located in the eastern part of the country. This province has been a launching pad for Taliban when they are under attack in Kandahar.
The province contains 19 districts, encompassing over a thousand villages and roughly 1.1 million people. Population is 100 percent Pushtun speaking and firm supporter of Taliban due to ethnic proximity with Mullah Omar, the chief of taliban. This city was also a hub of Arab fighters n past.
The city of Ghazni serves as the provincial capital. It lies on the important Kabul–Kandahar Highway, and has historically functioned as an important trade center. The Ghazni Airport is located next to the city of Ghazni and provides limited domestic flights to Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul.
