MIRAMSHAH: A mortar shell exploded in a house in the Shawal district of the North Waziristan region early on Wednesday that left at least six persons including four women and a child killed.
The explosion took place in Shawal, about 55 kilometres (35 miles) west of Miramshah, the main town in North Waziristan tribal district, along the Afghan border.
