KARACHI: An explosive device planted in a motorbike went off in Karachi on Thursday morning, leaving at least seven Rangers personnel injured.
The officials said that the paramilitary troops were on patrolling in Karachi’s Landhi 89 area on Thursday morning when a remote-controlled explosive device planted in a motorbike parked on the roadside went off as their truck passed by it.
As a result, at least seven Rangers personnel were injured, the officials added.
The injured personnel were shifted to Jinnah hospital in Karachi.
