KARACHI: Rangers conducted a targeted operation in a residential complex near Mukka Chowk, Azizabad moments after midnight and arrested four people on Thursday.

During the on going search operation, the rangers personnel blocked two streets leading to Madani Masjid for common people to conduct the operation in Ali Center and an adjacent katchi abadi near Mukka Chowk.

Nearly 100 rangers troops conducted overnight targeted action that lasted for almost an hour.

In separate developments, Baloch Colony police arrested three miscreants after an armed encounter and recovered two pistols and drugs from their possession, according to SP Clifton.

Meantime, Ittehad Town police undertook an action in Gulshan-e-Ghazi and arrested six miscreants along with their firearms for involvement in different crimes in the city.

Also, Super Market police arrested an operative of a banned outfit along with his Kalashnikov during a sting action in C-1 Area Cemetery
