QUETTA, Pakistan: Five personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) received injuries when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb in Balochistan’s Capital on Monday.
Police said that the vehicle of FC personnel was patrolling the Western Bypass area of Quetta as per routine but in the meantime, it hit a bomb planted along the roadside.
Resultantly, five FC personnel were injured who were immediately taken to a Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Quetta for getting medical treatment. Hospital sources said that three of injured FC men were in critical condition.
The vehicle was also partially damaged in the blast.
Meanwhile, an investigation had begun to probe the incident and, on the other hand, no one had yet admitted to be behind the blast.
Separately, four more persons were injured in a landmine blast occurred in Chattar town of Balochistan’s Naseerabad District.
