Elections 2013President,PM condemn the attack on ANP rally

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso condemning the attack on ANP rally in Peshawar have vowed to defeat militancy.

In a telephonic conversation with ANP leader Asfandyar Wali Khan‚ the President expressed sympathies with the bereaved families. He directed the provincial government to provide best medical treatment to the injured.

Prime Minister directed the interior ministry to improve intelligence sharing and enhance coordination with provincial governments to prevent such incidents.

At least 11 persons were killed and over 50 injured when a suicide bomber attacked a public rally of Awami National Party at Yakatoot area in Peshawar on Tuesday night.

Party leader Ghulam Ahmad Bilour also received minor injuries in the attack.
