ISLAMABAD: The outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) said that militants didn’t need a political office in Pakistan and thanked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for his proposal to allow them to open an office.

The TTP also welcomed an appeal for a ceasefire made by prominent Ulema during a meeting at the Wifaq-ul-Madaris.

The spokesman for the TTP Shahidullah Shahid said that the militants would follow the suit, if the government decided ceasefire. He said that it was the unanimous decision of the TTP Shura to move forward as per the decisions taken by the all-parties conference (APC).
