Separately, the air strikes also targeted terrorists’ hideouts in South Waziristan and killed eight terrorists.

Five hideouts of the terrorists were also destroyed in the South Waziristan air strikes.

The air strikes supported by ground military operation continue in North and South Waziristan agencies as part of the operation Zarb-e-Azb since June 2014.

Meanwhile, the Counter Terrorism Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa conducted a search operation in Gandigar area of Upper Dir and arrested a ring leader of terrorists Fakhruddin.
