QUETTA, Pakistan: A 16-inch gas pipeline was blown up in Pir Koh area in Balochistan’s Dera Bugti district when explosives planted by militants close to the pipeline went off on Saturday.
A security official said that the blast caused suspension of gas supply to gas purification plant.
The Frontier Corps and levies personnel reached the site and started investigation into the incident.
