New Delhi:  Manmohan Singhcondemns massive attack by Naxalite rebels that left 17 people dead.

It may be mentioned a group of armed Naxalites on Saturday ambushed a Congress party convoy at Dharba Valley in the state ruled by the country’s main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), killing 17 people on the spot and abducting a senior leader along with his son, according to a senior police official.

All the injured, including former central Minister and senior Congress leader V.C. Shukla, are currently being treated in various hospitals.
