Hangu suicide attack leaves one dead

HANGU: A person was killed while three others were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the Afghan refugees camp in Sargadana Feroz Ghundi on Friday, the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 05 October, 2012.

District Police Officer Dr Saeed Ahmed Khan said the suicide bomber entered the abandoned house of an Afghan refugee, Abdul Khaliq, at 7am and blew himself up. As a result, one Ibrahim was killed while Jehanzeb, Abdur Rehman and Fazal were wounded.

Talking to reporters from an undisclosed location by phone, the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Ihsanullah Ihsan while claiming responsibility for the attack stressed that the bomber first killed 15 men of the Nabi Hanfi group in the building before blowing himself up. He said the TTP would continue its efforts to eliminate all the members of the Nabi Hanfi group.
