ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday expressed the strong commitment of his government to root out the menace of terrorism from the country.

Talking to FATA parliamentarians in Islamabad on Wednesday‚ the premier said terrorism is a big challenge and collective efforts will be made to exterminate it.

Sharif said conducive and peaceful environment is also imperative for the revival of economy and improving the living standards of the people.

Matters relating to the national security with particular reference to terrorism were discussed during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers including Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan‚ Pervaiz Rashid‚ Khawaja Saad Rafique‚ Khawaja Asif and Abdul Qadir Baloch as well as Advisors to the Prime Minister Sartaj Aziz and Tariq Fatemi.
