KARACHI: Four people were killed in different incidents of violence in the city, while 33 people were detained in a targeted operation led by Rangers and police in Sherpao Colony, Patel Para and Jehangir Road Baloch Para, The Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

One man was gunned down in Karachi’s Orangi Town Bukhari Colony, two dead bodies were found near Nagan Chowrangi and Malir Checkpost No 5. Both of the deceased had been killed after being abducted.

Police personnel along with women officers conducted a targeted operation in Patel Para and Jehangir Road Baloch Para and took 33 suspects into custody. The raids were conducted in homes belonging to people of different political parties.

Rangers also conducted a search operation in Landhi’s Sherpao colony. Several suspects, including some belonging to banned groups, were detained during the operation. Caches of weapons were recovered during the raids.
