Five militants killed in Turbat gun battle

QUETTA/MIRANSHAH: The security forces killed at least five militants in a gun battle in Chahsar area of Turbat, the official sources said on Monday.

A senior official of Turbat police said that a convoy of the Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers was passing through Chahsar area on Sunday night when it came under attack by the militants. In retaliatory firing, the FC soldiers killed at least five militants.

Rockets fired security forces’ camp in Miranshah

Meanwhile, three rockets were fired on a camp of the security forces in Miranshah area of North Waziristan tribal region on Sunday night.

Fortunately, no loss of life occurred in the attack. The security personnel cordoned off the area and initiated investigation.
