QUETTA, Pakistan: The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan conducted raids in various parts of the province on Saturday and apprehended 11 militants linked with two different banned outfits.

The FC spokesman said that the search operations were carried out in Turbat and Gwadar areas of Balochistan. He said that nine militants were arrested from Tump area of Turbat and two from Gwadar.

On Friday as well, the FC Balochistan arrested nine militants during raids in Quetta, Dera Bugti and Turbat.

As per details given by the FC spokesman, four militants of a banned organization were arrested in Sariab area of Quetta. He said that five militants were detained during search operations at Absar area of Turbat and suburbs of Dera Bugti.

Separately, the FC also seized 56,000 liters smuggled Iranian diesel from two oil tankers in Lasbela district.
