NASIRABAD: A blast went off near an election rally of an independent candidate in Manjishora area of restive Balochistan province; however, fortunately no causality took place.

Scores of supporters of Allah Dino Umrani, who is contesting election from PB-29 Nasirabad-V as an independent candidate, were attending a rally in Manjishora area when the explosive material planted on the roadside near the rally venue exploded, security sources said.

Umran also remained unhurt in the violent incident.
