Distortion of facts by Islamabad Police in court attack case

Islamabad Police, Government of Pakistan and opposition in parliament both are distorting facts about attack on session courts of Islamabad in F-8 sector, claims eye witnesses.

According to data collected by Dispatch News Desk (DND) from eye witnesses:

Attackers came in two Vigo double cabins.

They were more than six who entered into courts while two each were sitting in vehicles.

At least four attackers were firing and were in action.

Policeman who was killed was not a part of police force rather he was there to place summon of a legal case. He was unarmed and he had nothing to do with rapid response forces or police posted on duty at courts

While Islamabad and government claim:

Policeman was killed while fighting with terrorists.

Attackers were four. Two of them were suicide bombers detonated themselves while two after action ran away.

Opposition parties like Tehrik-i-Insaf of Imran Khan has accepted official version.

Supreme Court of Pakistan has taken suo moto by and hearing has already started.

Why parliamentarians are reluctant to accept facts?

Terrorists have sons of two top politicians in their custody—– Shahbaz Taseer who is son of a former Governor Punjab and Ali Gillani who is son of a former Prime Minister of Pakistan. Politicians understand their sons and daughters can also be abducted by terrorists and the State of Pakistan is not in position to find them. They have families and children so why should they come on frontline and raise hue and cry that terrorists are living very much in Islamabad—very much in the neighborhood of Parliament of Pakistan. Terrorists can abduct any persons including parliamentarians.

All clues are links to Lal Masjid incident but no government official has invistigate any persons of Ghazi family

The additional sessions judge Rafaqat Awan, who was among those 11 persons who lost their lives in an attack on district courts in Islamabad on Monday morning, once refused to register a first information report (FIR) against former President Pervez Musharraf following the Lal Masjid operation.

Haroon Rasheed, the son of the deceased Lal Masjid cleric Abdul Rasheed Ghazi, filed an appeal before the additional sessions judge Rafaqat Awan on April 23 last year, asking him to register an FIR against Musharraf.

However, Judge Rafaqat Awan rejected the appeal and described that as an attempt to gain cheap popularity.

While challenging the trial court’s order, the petitioner approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) to register an FIR against Musharraf. Aabpara station house officer has also been named as a respondent.
