KARACHI: At least three people were killed while several others were injured when a bomb went off near Indus Complex at Sohrab Goth in Karachi on Wednesday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

According to earlier reports, the explosive device, planted in a motorcycle detonated outside a mosque, however, later on police claimed that the bomb went off near a drug dealers’ den.

Soon after the blast, relief and police teams rushed to the blast place and shifted the victims to hospital. The blast-stricken area has been cordoned off with Rangers and police.

Meanwhile, two persons including a Sub Inspector of Police were injured when unknown attackers hurled at least two crackers at the cops near Edhi’s mortuary in Sohrab Goth. The assailants fled the scene.
