PESHAWAR: A roadside bomb went off targeting a police van near Pishtakhara police station in Peshawar’s Safed Dheri area on Tuesday that left a police constable Aijaz injured.
The police sources said that the blast occurred when personnel from the Pishtakhara police station were on routine patrol on the Dora Road.
The police van was completely destroyed in the explosion.
The bomb disposal squad (BDS) said that approximately, five to six kilograms of explosive material was used in the blast.
