QUETTA, Pakistan: An explosion reportedly took place in the Balochistan’s capital on Friday afternoon that left at least two persons injured.
The sources said that the blast occurred in the Sariab road area of Quetta when an improvised explosive device (IED) planted in a cycle went off.
Earlier in the morning, at least two security personnel were killed while two others sustained injuries when an IED weighing four to five kilograms and planted on a motorcycle went off on Warsak Road in Peshawar.
The Superintendent of Police (Rural) Shakir Bangash said that a convoy of security forces was passing through the Mathra Bazaar area of Peshawar when the IED exploded.
