TURBAT: A low-intensity blat took place near a rally being organized by National Party (NP) on Sunday in southern Balochistan city of Turbat, however, no causality was reported.

Police said miscreants hurled a hand grenade near the rally venue, causing no damage or loss of life.

On the other hand, the party General Secretary Tahir Bazanjo told reporters that house of NP’s central leader, Dr. Abdul Malik, was attacked with a hand grenade at times when preparations for electioneering were underway inside his residence located in Turbat town.

The party condemned the incident, describing it as a conspiracy to keep the nationalist political party away from general elections.
