HANGU: A political agent, two assistant political agents and a tehsildar were injured in a blast in Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday.
The sources said that a convoy of political agent Riaz Mehsud was travelling to Peshawar when a remote-controlled blast took place in Thal tehsil of Hangu that left Mehsud, two assistant political agents and a tehsildar injured.
The security forces reached the blast site and cordoned off the area. Meanwhile, the injured persons were shifted to Combined Military Hospital for treatment.
