QUETTA: Former Balochistan Minister for Prisons, Sultan Tareen, who was abducted by unknown gunmen a month ago, reached home on Friday evening after he had been released by his captives after payment of ransom, his family sources said.

Sultan Tareen had been kidnapped by unknown gunmen about a month ago from Ziarar Cross area of Pishin district.

He was elected as an MPA from Harnai district on the ticket of Awami National Party (ANP). He was prisons minister in Nawab Raisani cabinet.
