Quetta: At least two people were injured in a blast – eigth in the last 24 hours – that struck Jan Muhammad Road area of the provincial capital here on Wednesday.

That explosion was eighth in a row within 24 hours. The fresh wave of terror that took eight lives and injured more than 40, hits the volatile province ahead of general election to be held on May 11. Officials said that the blast took place on Jan Muhammad Road, injuring two people.The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
