KAKUL: Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani said on Saturday that army fully supports the process of negotiation to eliminate terrorism.

Addressing passing out parade of 128th Long Course at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul today‚ the army chief said that terrorism is a big challenge but the national leadership and the nation have to decide the ways and means of dialogue process.

The army chief said that army will fully support the negotiation process but it must be within the constitutional parameters.

Kayani said that this impression is totally wrong that the course of dialogue has been adopted after the failure of military operations.

He reminded that Pakistan Army has given matchless sacrifices in the war against terrorism and achieved major success against this menace. He said that Pakistan is passing through a critical and difficult phase.

He said that military leadership must play its role for strengthening of democratic system. He said that the entire nation has to play its role for the resolution of the country’s problem.
