Amn Committee member, Taliban commander killed among others in separate incidents

PESHAWAR: Unidentified militants killed two persons including an Amn Committee member in an encounter in Garhi Haider area in Khyber Pakhtunkhwaks Tank district, media reports said on Thursday.

In a separate incident, a local Taliban commander and his bodyguards were killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on a vehicle on Miramshah-Mirali road in Pir Kallay area of North Waziristan tribal region.

The security sources said that those killed in the attack were identified by locals as Shafiq, a Taliban commander, and his three guards.
