PESHAWAR, Pakistan: At least five militants were killed and three others were injured in a gun battle with a tribal lashkar in the Dana Khola area of the Orakzai tribal region on Saturday, the official sources said.
The official sources said that the exchange of fire during which heavy weapons were used followed an attack by the militant in a village in the area.
The political tehsildar Sher Muhammad also confirmed the clash.
