ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Security forces killed 28 terrorists in crackdown across the Country following a series of bombings including last night’s deadliest bomb blast in Sehwan.
Sources said that the security forces carried out search operations in various parts of the Country on Friday and in encounters killed 28 terrorists.
Sources said that 11 terrorists were killed when Rangers conducted a search operation in Manghopir area of Karachi while seven more terrorists were killed near Kathor on Superhighway. However, three Rangers men were injured in exchange of fire with the terrorists.
Likewise, four terrorists were killed after the security personnel conducted a raid on their hideout in Bakakhel area in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district whereas three terrorists were killed in Regi area of Peshawar.
Two terrorists were killed in Quetta in an exchange of fire with the security forces on eastern bypass near Sariab Road.
Similarly, the security personnel killed a terrorist in Mohmand agency. However, one security personnel was also martyred.
The security forces also recovered arms and ammunitions from the possession of terrorists.
The massive crackdown against terrorists was initiated in all provinces following a terrorist attack at Lal Shahbaz Qalandar Shrine in Sehwan Sharif which martyred at least 81 devotees and injured over 150.
