QUETTA: At least 10 militants belonging to a banned Baloch militant group were killed when the Frontier Corps (FC) personnel launched an operation against militants in mountainous areas of Balochistan’s Panjgur district on Monday.
A spokesman for the FC Khan Wasey said that three personnel of the paramilitary force were also injured during the exchange of fire between the two sides.
Wasey said that those militants against whom the operation was launched, were involved in targeted killings and bomb explosions.
The FC personnel also destroyed three suspected militant hideouts and two vehicles.
The injured personnel were rushed to Panjgur for medical treatment.
