ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan: President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow on Thursday received the Executive Vice President of S2 Global Jonathan Fleming, which is a part of the OSI Systems USA.

In the conversation held at Awaza, the national tourist zone of Turkmenistan at the Caspian Coast, between the two dignitaries, focus was on the solutions for reliable scanning and quick processing of the cargo that would pass through Turkmenistan after the trade and transportation corridor currently being developed come into service.

Of particular interest were the cargo volumes that would pass through the recently modernized and upgraded Turkmenbashi port.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, and the President of the American-Turkmen Business Council Eric Stewart were also present at the meeting.

S2 Global provides customs and border screening solutions, and event security screening solutions while OSI Systems offers a wide range of electronic security and screening solutions, optoelectronics, and some healthcare products under the brand name Spacelabs.

Jonathan Fleming, with substantial experience in airport security including at TSA, founded S2 Global in 2009 and led its merger with OSI Systems Inc in 2010.

Ajay Mehra is the Founding Member of OSI Systems and the President of S2 Global whereas Deepak Chopra is the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OSI Systems.
