Recently Systems Limited collaborated with IBM to host an event with a focus on hyperautomation in businesses. The event was hosted at Mövenpick Hotel, Karachi. The two companies explained the importance and capability of hyperautomation – a process that combines machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and automation tools to maximize business efficiency. Is it time for businesses in Pakistan to consider switching to hyperautomation? To find out the answer, let’s first understand what exactly is hyperautomation.
What Is Hyperautomation?
We have heard about automation tools and systems empowering businesses across the globe. However, Hyperautomation may be a relatively new term for many business owners in Pakistan. To put it simply, Hyperautomation is a process that goes beyond Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This advanced process enables businesses to accomplish bigger tasks. By combining multiple machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and automation tools, companies can achieve more with less. We can safely say that hyperautomation is the automation of automation systems.
How Does Hyperautomation Help Businesses?
Business automation tools help to automate repetitive tasks without the possibility of human error. While this may be true, hyperautomation can automate the processes that were previously done by humans. Here we are talking about the issues including ever-evolving customer demands, scaling enterprise processes, and almost any key operational challenges faced by companies.
Systems – IBM Collaboration
The event hosted under the collaboration of Systems Limited and IBM focused to enlighten the capabilities of hyperautomation in businesses. Sarfaraz Paracha – VP Client Management at Systems Limited – highlighted how hyperautomation is an on-going process to drive efficiencies to business management process with reduced costs.
“Hyperautomation isn’t a project but a program with AI and ML capabilities to drive efficiencies and it is an ongoing process,” he said.
Ovais Khan – Head of Integrations at Systems Limited – shared a use case explaining how Systems Limited evaluated the business process of a foreign company to help to devise a critical business model with extensive capabilities.
“There is a cultural change that is associated with technological excellence and transformation. By conducting training sessions, we helped the company understand how RPA adds value to the business”, Ovais Khan discussed.
Moving Businesses Beyond RPA
Asim Noorani – Hybrid Cloud Technical Sales Lead at IBM – helped to put the light on some of the key challenges faced by companies and how hyperautomation can act as a single solution to all the problems. He mentioned, “RPA is a complete journey. It is not a one-off project. You need to optimize the use cases and value them until you start seeing their full potential across the enterprise.”
Will Businesses Switch to Hyperautomation in Pakistan?
The efficiency in business management requires flawless time and error management. While automation tools help companies to get rid of small tasks at hand, hyperautomation can set the direction, pace, and ROIs of businesses. It is a bit early to predict the challenges involved in the way of accomplishing hyperautomation systems in the country. However, the collaborative event hosted by Systems Limited and IBM has acted as a significant step forward in helping companies practically understand the importance and capabilities of hyperautomation in businesses.
