ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: To commemorate the spirit of the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2015 and channel the passion of Pakistani supporters, Mobilink has launched World Cup Cricket Polls service for its subscribers.

The service enables users to share their opinion of the live match proceedings with other fans and get to know how many people agree with their point of view few moments after they share their opinion on the ongoing event. They will also receive interesting facts regarding cricket and its history via SMS alerts in addition to results of the poll question. The user who participates the most in the service during the world cup 2015 will win a smartphone.

Our cricket based service is the only service of its kind and enables our customers to share their opinions on the ongoing Cricket World Cup with millions of other cricket fans around the country,” the Head of Brands and Marketing Mobilink Wasif Mustafa said while expressing his views on the launch of the new value added service said.

To be a part of this offer, Mobilink subscribers may SMS the word ‘POLL’ to 30050 at PKR 2.99 per SMS for prepaid users and PKR 3.59 per SMS for Postpaid Users (inclusive of all taxes). Prepaid users can also dial *151# at Rs.2.99 per request. The winner will be determined on the basis of maximum usage of the service during the Cricket World Cup 2015.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
