LG will be unveiling the newly designed Nexus for Google by making it available for the general public on September 29, 2015. The new phone will be sold alongside the Huawei variant and will be a bit pricier than its predecessors.
The newly designed LG-Nexus would vary slightly from the naming convention and might be branded as the Nexus 5X. We are a bit unsure about the name as it’s something that hasn’t been finalized. Of course, we all know in the end it would end up being mentioned as Nexus 5 2015 like the Nexus 7.
According to leaked images online, the device will have a slightly raised rear camera with a dual flash as well as having a rear fingerprint sensor. The phone will be available in white, black and light blue variants and would have the same old, sturdy plastic body you have come to expect from the Nexus series. Of course, not everything will be the same as the newer device is said to be using the USB Type C port as well as being about $50 more expensive than the original Nexus 5.
While it is still a bit early to speculate, we do believe that the device will also unveil the latest Android firmware version: Android Marshmallow, whose statue was recently unveiled by Google at their head quarters.
The important thing to remember here is that all of this is still non confirmed information and may be subjected to change at any given point in time. So we would advise that you take this in with a bit of salt and hold on just a bit more for the grand unveiling of the latest Nexus flagship.
